Data signals that a founder knows their customer, the size of their opportunity and the resources required to compete. Deborah encourages founders to use both primary and secondary research to anchor their projections. When story, design and data reinforce one another, they help create a more coherent pitch. This alignment is crucial for helping investors understand not only the opportunity but the thinking that supports it.
